Dawn of the Dead (2004)

 Dawn
of the Dead is based on the classic movie of the same name made by
John Romero in 1978, the same flesh-eating visionary who brought us Night
of the Living Dead. In this retelling some of the story may have
changed, but the basics are all still there: zombies craving braaaaiiiins,
and people running from them! Sarah Polley stars as Ana, a nurse who has
woken up to a neighbourhood - and husband - now full of zombies who would
like nothing better then to take a bite out of her. Narrowly escaping
the scene, she meets up with Kenneth (Ving Rhames) and three other remaining
fleshies, and together they hole themselves up in a shopping mall. They
should be safe in there, right? Of course not!
